Growing in Community
Here at CCC, we have ministry opportunities and bible studies for personal growth and growth in community with one another. We also have ministries that strive to engage world around us. You can read more below about opportunities to be involved!
children’s ministry
We offer opportunities to be involved in children’s church, Sunday school, & nursery on Sunday mornings. Our hope is to help raise Gospel-believing children by teaching them Biblical truths starting from a young age through our scripture-centered curriculum.
men’s ministry
The men at CCC spend time together studying God’s Word during the Men’s Bible Study on Fridays, 6:30am at the church. The “Old Horse” Bible Study (Tues/1pm/Claussen’s), a group for our older gentlemen, meets each week to remain rooted in their knowledge of scripture.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
We provide a variety of opportunities for the women here at CCC. Our Women’s Bible Study (Tuesday/1pm/Church), “Rooted” (2nd Saturday of the month/9:30am/Church/childcare included), & seasonal events are used as times of fellowship and community-building, while being strengthened in the Word of God.
Mercy ministry
Our Mercy Ministry is a group who serves our church body and extended church family in meaningful ways through meal delivery, transportation, visitation, and much more. These helping hands truly take care of those in need
within our community.
prayer group
This group faithfully meets on Wednesdays, 7pm at the church to gather in prayer for our church family and community. Prayer requests can be made through our Prayer Chain, contacting the church office, or by filling out the tear-off portion of our bulletin and placing it in the offering box.
missions committee
Our Missions Committee stays involved in what God is doing around the world by meeting with missionaries and supporting their work. We currently support people and projects in Japan, India, France, China, Hungary, South Africa, throughout South America, as well as campus ministries and church planting efforts in North America.
music & worship
Music is a primary way that we can encourage and express our devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the tenets of our faith can be reinforced through the use of well-written, biblical songs and hymns. We encourage you to be a part of our music ministry. Please don't feel that you need to have mastered the art of music, as long as your desire is to worship our Lord.
Story Group
CCC Story Groups offer a safe and confidential space to explore your story and reflect on what has shaped you.
Most of us struggle with ’stuckness’ whether that be in areas of sin pattern, repeat emotional reactions that seem ‘disproportionate', or undesirable relational patterns. Formative stories from our childhood continue to impact us, shaping how we relate to God, ourselves, and others. They keep us bound to coping skills and defensive mechanisms that restrict our ability to freely step into what we are each uniquely called to in life. Story groups provide the opportunity to bring these stories into the Light in the midst of a small group of empathetic witnesses guided by trained facilitator(s).
Groups meet weekly for approximately ten weeks and the participant fee for this group is $125. (Please inquire about scholarships as needed). During the course of the group, each participant commits to writing one childhood narrative to read with the group, experiencing feedback and reflection from others. In addition, participants engage with a short chapter of the Story Workbook per week. Participants are also asked to commit to group attendance as regularly as possible on behalf of their own heart as well as for other group members as they share their stories in turn.
